Transforming Quality Of Healthcare

View Our Brochure

Our Story

The initiative of the Barsana Healthcare Center had its seeds sown through Barsana Eye Camp. A group of doctors (who in turn founded the Bhaktivedanta Hospital later) & H. H. Radhanath Swami were on a pilgrimage to Barsana, Mathura Dist., UP in the year 1992 who identified the need to conduct eye camp to reduce needless blindness from the cluster of villagers surrounding Barsana. The camp became a regular feature after it received an over whelming response from the local communities & nearby villages in Barsana. The need & the magnitude of blindness triggered starting a full-fledged facility offering specialized Eye & Dental care under one roof to poor & the needy sections of the society in that area..

Testimonials

“The Barsana Eye Camp organized by Bhaktivedanta Hospital is a very wonderful project. It is very dear to my heart and when I see this wonderful service given by the doctors from Bombay and the 200 volunteers who come there leaving everything aside for a period of 15days and the kind of care and attention they give to the patients there, it really is something amazing. My family, my group “The Arvind Mafatlal Group” and myself are deeply committed to this project.”
